David is currently Head of Industry for Healthcare at Google where he and his team drive business transformation with executives at the top pharmaceutical and consumer health companies using data-driven insights, analytics, and machine learning across Google's search, YouTube, Marketing and Cloud platforms. Prior to Google, he was a member of executive leadership teams at Johnson & Johnson's BabyCenter, iVillage.com, Revolution Health, and Everyday Health where he pioneered many of the first digital marketing initiatives across top Fortune 100 companies and brands.

He is a member of the Google Healthcare Advisory Board, was named top 40 Healthcare Transformers in the US by Medical Marketing & Media; serves as a Google Executive Summit Brand Evangelist at the Partnerplex at Google's headquarters in California. David is an industry thought-leader and frequent presenter at major industry summits & conferences including The World Economic Forum on Global Health, IMCAS World Congress, Cannes Lions Health, American Heart Association, Indegene Digital Summit, and the Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience Summit among others.



Chris Boardman

Chris Boardman is currently Vice President of Biopharma Solutions at Inmar Intelligence. Chris has 30 years of experience in data analytics in the healthcare sector. His career has included working for CDC, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, IMS HEALTH, Valuecentric and other companies developing custom data analytic, estimation techniques and services to meet the diverse customer needs.



Lucas Dan

Director, Data Science, IntegriChain

Lucas Dan is the Director of Data Science at IntegriChain, a technology company that uses data science and analytics to transform commercial data into actionable insights that help patients start therapy faster and stay on therapy longer. Lucas joined IntegriChain in 2015 as the company’s first data scientist and has since built a team of data scientists that is responsible for developing products to help leading Life Sciences manufacturers make decisions and solve business problems.

Lucas has over 8 years of experience utilizing Python to build business solutions driven by machine learning and advanced analytics. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Connecticut college and a Master’s Degree in Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.



Nuria Diaz-Tena

Director, Pfizer

Nuria Diaz-Tena joined the Analytics Innovation team at Pfizer as Director and has been responsible for (1) finding innovative methods to assess the sales impact thru engagement metrics, (2) improving digital engagement by optimizing content and frequency, (3) assessing the sales impact of Patient's Digital Initiatives as Social Media and Mobile Apps, (4) computing improvements on drug adherence due to digital wearables campaigns, (5) providing a Mobile App framework to maximize the insights using the mobile app events data, (6) listening what our patients are saying on social media with NLP to help the patients with their treatments.

Before joining Pfizer, Nuria had worked at MarketShare Partners, IMS Health, Inventive Health, TNS-Global and Mathematica Policy Research. She has a PhD in statistics from The University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and a bachelor’s in physics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain.



Brent Erbe

Director, LAAD IQVIA Data, IQVIA

Working in the technology field since 1997, Brent’s primary focus areas include enterprise data warehousing, master data management, business intelligence, advanced analytics, data science, IT strategy and planning, technical team building, SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, cloud computing, data visualization, user interface architecture, Tableau, and Excel dashboarding.

Brent has worked as a Director of LAAD Patient Data at IQVIA since 2013 where his primary responsibilities include engaging with clients to understand their needs, providing technology and analytics related expertise, and leading a team responsible for mining big data, producing data analytics, building dashboard and reporting solutions, and managing data warehouse infrastructure.

Prior to this, Brent held a similar role at Symphony Health where he worked from 2005 through to 2012. While there, he served as a primary technical architect and helped to build their core patient data asset known as PTD.



John Garcia

Global & US Business Operations Lead, Alnylam

John Garcia is the Global & US Business Operations Lead at Alnylam, a rare disease company focused on the development and commercialization of RNAi based therapeutics. Before Alnylam, John spent his time leading many different commercial teams in biopharma, starting a med device company, and consulting with a host of early stage ventures in life sciences. Prior to John’s life sciences career he was an active duty Marine Officer and retired as a Marine Infantry Major. First, John is a father and husband to his wife of 15 years, Elizabeth, and their four children, Zoe, JT, Gunnar, and Alex. In his free time he goes to work… John holds degrees from Berkeley and the United States Naval Academy and has done coursework at Brown, Stanford, and University of North Carolina.

Daniel Garmat

Senior Analyst, DrFirst

Daniel Garmat is a Senior Analyst at DrFirst based in Rockville, Maryland, focused on medication management. He received his M.S. in Statistics from Oregon State University and B.S. in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. His passions include statistical methods, computation, scalable automation, and the so-called, “Advanced Analytics.”

Most recently, Dan worked in population health analytics for Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon where he developed predictive models around healthcare utilization and mined prescription data for cost-saving opportunities. He worked daily with healthcare professionals to ensure their needs were met so that analytics solutions integrated cleanly into production clinical workflows.

He has worked in healthcare, manufacturing, and finance, always finding that intersection of data and practical business strategy. He integrates this with an ethical, long term view.

When he is not working, Dan enjoys hiking, ethnobotany, philosophy, and fluid art painting.



Robert Groebel

Vice President - Global Medical/KAM Strategy, Veeva

Robert Groebel is Vice President, Global Medical and Account Management Strategy at Veeva Systems. With more than 25 years of diverse experience in commercial and medical organizations, Robert’s expertise includes both domestic and international sales and product marketing, as well as medical affairs, strategic operations, administration, and staffing.

In his current role, he guides commercial and medical affairs organizations globally to leverage technology, data, and analytics to enhance Engagement and Scientific Communications in an increasingly complex healthcare landscape. Prior to joining Veeva, Robert led marketing and product strategy teams at Boehringer Ingelheim and Shire Pharmaceuticals.

Robert holds a BA in International Studies and Economics from Towson University.



Shiraz Hasan

Senior Principal, IQVIA, Market Access Strategy Consulting

Shiraz is a Senior Principal within the Market Access Center of Excellence at IQVIA. He has been serving the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industry for over 15 years. He is passionate about leveraging the application of data & analytics to inform winning strategies. He has helped his clients with some of their most significant challenges across many functions, including strategic planning, market access, real-world evidence, innovation, product launch, supply chain, brand planning, and sales management. While on sabbatical from IQVIA, he held several senior-level consulting leadership roles including VP of & Analytics & Innovation at Precision for Medicine, a partner at a market access consulting firm, and Vice President of Market Access at Capgemini Consulting. Previously at IQVIA, he held the roles of Sr Principal and Managed Markets Strategy Solutions Lead. Before IQVIA, he was the Practice Leader of Managed Markets & Real-World Evidence at Wolters Kluwer Health.

Throughout his career and education, he has won numerous awards for his innovative and creative approaches towards strategic design, leadership, financial analysis, and education.

Mr. Hasan holds a BS in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University as well as an MBA from Rutgers Business School.



Scott Hull

Scott Hull draws on over 27 years of professional experience in helping organizations evaluate, re-engineer and implement commercial strategies and analytics.

Prior to joining Marcus Evans, Hull was with Shire, where he managed several large engagements across a variety of commercial areas, including sales forces strategy, design, optimization as well as commercial operations, reporting and marketing analytics.

Prior to Shire, Hull worked at J&J, Eli Lilly, CV Therapeutics, Abbott, Hospira and IQVIA in progressive roles such as Sales, HR, Management, Analytics, IC and CRM.

Hull is currently pursuing an MS in Applied Analytics from BU, has an MBA from the Cardinal Stritch University, and a BS Degree from University of WI, PMP and is a Veeva Certified Admin.

Allen Kumar

Allen Kumar is Senior Director, Medical Engagement Platforms, at GSK, where he leads a team dedicated to enhancements and architecture of US Medical Affairs digital technologies, including Veeva CRM & MedComms. Prior to joining GSK, Allen held a variety of Medical Affairs roles over 20 years at many pharmaceutical companies including Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Astellas, and GSK. Allen received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina. He currently lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and 5 children.

Vanessa Martin

Vanessa C. Martin is a Manager of Advanced Analytics at Janssen Pharmaceuticals where she supports the Immunology therapeutic area, turning data into insights and driving strategic decision-making. In her current role, Vanessa leverages an assortment of data sources and analytic tools, and she collaborates with a variety of business partners to answer a diverse set of business questions, ranging from access and fulfillment to patient profiling and physician targeting to adherence and compliance.

Prior to Janssen, Vanessa spent time in pharmaceutical data consulting as a senior methodologist and engagement manager, where she worked across many different therapeutic areas integrating data and building enhanced reporting capabilities. Vanessa has also spent time in the health insurance industry evaluating patient outcomes and financial metrics using advanced statistical modeling techniques.



Myrto Miltiadous

Senior Data Scientist, Veeva

Myrto Miltiadous is a Senior Data Scientist at Veeva Systems, a company developing cloud-based solutions for life sciences. She is responsible for embedding machine learning algorithms into Veeva products. As the resident Data Scientist on the Andi team, she worked on the patent-pending core intelligence powering the Next Best Action engine, which uses AI to optimize field force engagement with HCPs. She currently supports Crossix, a division of Veeva, in launching new data-driven products.

Myrto has more than 15 years of experience in advanced analytics, across life sciences, oil and gas, and consumer products. She has experience leveraging Time Series models to develop financial forecasts and has supported marketing campaign design and execution through churn propensity, customer lifetime value, and customer segmentations to drive ROI.

She holds a Masters Degree in Biometry from the University of Reading in the UK and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. She is a member of the Royal Statistical Society in the UK and the American Statistical Association.



Say Niyogi

Sayantan Niyogi is a Principal within IQVIA’s Market Access Strategy Consulting team. Sayantan has 10 years of life science and biotechnology experience advising clients on payer strategy, patient support opportunities, quality of access work, as well as provider and pull-through strategy. Yunlong Wang

Trained as a computer and machine learning scientist, Yunlong has expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, optimization, simulations, and their applications to spatial temporal data analysis, such as longitudinal claim level data, media impression data, social network, and physician-patient networks. In this capacity, he provides methodological and analytical support to help clients solve complex issues in business and health outcomes research. At IPM.ai, his team’s current focus is around artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques facilitating positive patient outcomes at scale, with a focus in biotech, rare disease, and Oncology.

As a thought leader in the space, Jonathan is a regular presenter at leading industry conferences—most recently at Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), as well as at the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association (PMSA) and National Organization for Rare Disease (NORD)—on the topic of leveraging de-identified patient level data and machine learning to identity undiagnosed rare disease patients, and improving healthcare outcomes.



Brian Wynne

Brian Wynne is currently Senior Director of Advanced Analytics at Endo Pharmaceuticals. Brian has over twenty-five years of experience in data analytics in the pharmaceutical space, building advanced analytic capabilities including promotional response modeling, HCP segmentation and targeting and patient/treatment flow modeling. He has worked for IMS HEALTH and Valuecentric, developing projection methodologies to create new syndicated services. Brian has also managed analytics groups for retail and specialty products at AstraZeneca and Endo. In addition, Brian is an adjunct professor at West Chester University teaching Marketing Analytics for their graduate statistics program.



Li Zhou

Li Zhou is the Sr. Principle in the Global advanced analytic team. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry specialized in market science and marketing research. As a Sr. Director of Advanced Analytic group, Li leads a very experienced group with backgrounds in Predictive Analytics with AIML, Projection, Statistics modeling, Marketing Research, and Consulting. This group supports high-end analytic projects, core competence in physician targeting, patient-level studies, and different data assets projections, which integrate pharmacy data, medical, hospital, lab and payer level data. She designed patient projection models for Oncology, RA, HGH and Vaccine data marts. Her other experiences focused on: predictive modeling, survival analysis, forecasting, direct to consumer advertising evaluation, and experimental design. Her strength has been method and product design and development.
